Microfinance is defined as the access to financial services for the poor and low income groups. It is universally accepted as an effective tool for addressing poverty. Demand for microfinance services is largely unmet in Nepal.

By its very name, micro-finance (Laghubitta) means extension of small amounts of credit to small entrepreneurs particularly to the poor to ease financial constraints in productivity, production, and the incomes raising activities. In this context, Sarathi Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. is committed to uplift the economic standard of poor by its different tools. The organization aims to provide whole sole services in theirs own home.  We are providing the services of micro-savings, micro-credits and micro-insurance to the farmers and entrepreneurs. Moreover the remittance service is also provided to them.

With the objective of freeing people of various social classes, communities and regions unable to join the mainstream of development due to economic, social and cultural reasons, from poverty and backwardness targeted programs have been targeted. Such targeted programs cover women, Dalits, indigenous people, Madhesis and backward sections, communities living in remote areas, ultra-poor and small farmer households. The Products of Sarathi Nepal Laghubitta are really a more attractive to the farmers and clients. The credit and saving products are in favor of clients. They can be benefited by these products.

The Organization is providing its services Mountain to Taraei region. Our focus is on entrepreneurship development of our group members. We are confident that the organization will achieve to add a key mile stone in the financial service development of Nepal.
